Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Headless Analytics ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and API consumers.

2. Description of Service

HeadlessAnalytics provides an API-first operating intelligence platform for capturing, storing, querying, governing, and exporting analytics data from software systems, AI agents, workflows, QR codes, barcodes, RFID tags, sensors, robotics, enterprise connectors, campaigns, and related systems. The Service includes APIs, SDKs, CLI tools, MCP server integration, connector ingestion, governance features, proof trails, exports, and optional dashboards.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws
• Not sharing API keys in client-side code or public repositories
• Ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to ingest connector, customer, employee, device, physical trackable, and third-party platform data
• Reviewing and authorizing consequential actions before execution when required by your internal policies, law, or the Service governance model

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
• Transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful data through the API
• Exceed rate limits or abuse the platform in a way that degrades performance for other users
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
• Use analytics, governance, proof, connector, or export features to bypass required human approval, safety review, legal review, compliance review, or third-party platform terms

5. Data & Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service, including event, connector, trackable, governance, proof, outcome, and export data. We do not claim ownership of your workspace data. However, we retain all rights to the HeadlessAnalytics platform, including its software, documentation, branding, APIs, models, schemas, and user interface designs.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Headless Analytics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days following termination, after which it will be permanently deleted.
